Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, you deserve to experience birth the way that you want. As your birth doula, my role is to provide you with continuous emotional, physical and informational support throughout your pregnancy, labor and immediately postpartum. I strive to support families in creating a birth experience that feels safe, informed and aligned with their personal values and beliefs, whether that takes place at home, a hospital, birth center or even a hotel. From helping you emotionally prepare for labor to offering hands-on comfort measures (think hip squeeze, rebozo, counter pressure) during, I am there to hold space for you every step of the way. My goal is for you to feel confident, supported and RESPECTED during every stage of pregnancy, labor and postpartum.

What does doula support look like?

All of my packages come with prenatal support, which looks like us sitting down together and going over your birth preferences, birth education, and birth prep. There is always the option to add on extra prenatal visits, or even schedule a "nesting party."

I will be available by phone or text during your pregnancy and on call 24/7 for you 2 weeks before your "due date." You will receive continuous hands-on support during labor and birth, with a huge variety of comfort techniques. You will also be supported emotionally, with constant reassurance and support for you and your partner. I will stick around for up to 2 hours immediately after delivery, to help with establishing feeding and for any extra guidance.

PLEASE NOTE I do not attend planned free births. All births must be followed by a midwife or obgyn.

The perfect way to gather your family and friends and receive support before your babe arrives. Over the course of 1 hour, we will plan some meals and assign different tasks to your loved ones, like folding tiny laundry, setting up the diaper station(s), breastfeeding snack cart, etc. During the party, I will be in the kitchen cooking away to ensure you have a stocked freezer for postpartum convenience.
